Crystal Clear was written to sound like breathing clean air. I wanted it to sound light and gentle. It is meant to be a sober talk between my selves, an example of how Cassie picks Isabela off the ground when she’s heartbroken over things that didn’t go her way. Isabela will never stop counting stars but sometimes Cassie has to explain that it’s not that the alignment of the stars is late, it’s that they were never going to align.
